Jack's Glow Carnival part 2 is here!
Surrounded by loving family + friends, Jack was called to the Torah at Temple Israel. I love making portraits in this grand space and every time I find myself in the balcony, watching these teenage guys and girls reading from a Torah that came out of the Holocaust, I'm overwhelmed with such a sense of history and community. It's always my most favorite moment, along with the parents' speeches too, which always make me cry! :)
The luncheon after the service was a contemporary take on the traditional luncheon - so fun to see! The balloons, the box lunches, the tubs of custom water and Goody Pops (a family business started by Jack's great grandfather!) and all the DESSERTS were so colorful and different. Jack's mom Jennifer took so much care to work with the ladies of White Peacock Styled Events to design a fun day for Jack! All the graphic design work was done by Jack's cousin Andrea Kelly and really pulled the whole event together with custom stickers, signage and the emblem that found it's way on the balloons too!
Stay tuned for the real live Glow Carnival! I can't wait to show you these colorful, bright and "glow-tastic" images!
xoxo,
Sydnee
