Jake's Bar Mitzvah last fall was one for the recordbooks! So many amazing family moments, so many classic details and so many fun party shots - I loved every minute!

We started the weekend with Shabbat dinner at Cafe Lurcat, setting the tone for a classic celebration. Allie with A to Z Do It Directed worked closely with mom Anne to put together all the details - from napkins to linens to a custom logo and all the perfect touches to make the weekend so fabulous and SO JAKE!

The morning portraits, service and luncheon at Temple Israel  included the family heirloom bible, an amazing stitched Kippah and family Tallis. Jake is a tried and true soccer guy, so choosing to donate a portion of his Bar Mitzvah gifts to a soccer camp abroad for kids was such a heartwarming moment. PLUS the great-grandparents attending the luncheon made for a really special morning.

The party really got started at The Pourhouse in downtown Minneapolis with a soccer theme - the custom logo on TVs surrounding the dance floor, Level11 kept the music going and all the fun food details (the cheese curds! the mini burgers! the ice cream bar!) were right up my alley! Inviting the MN Timberwolves basketball guy for the start of the party was a true highlight, along with the Mobile Photo Wall providing photos to guests.

Mazel Tov, Jake! I hope your bar mitzvah was everything you dreamed of and more! XOXO
