Mitzvah Monday is here again with a milestone event for my business - the first ever SBP B'Nai Mitzvah! Ethan and his cousin Celeste celebrated last fall at Beth El Synagogue and it was a weekend to remember - fun, casual, filled with laughter and lots of love. Just how we like it! 

I've worked with Ethan and his family before with his older sister Ilana's bat mitzvah in 2013 and it was a blast getting to know this laid-back family, so I knew this event would be no different! Coordinating two families with combined photos as well as separate portraits was no easy task but moms Stephanie and Michele made it a breeze! 

The party on Saturday night was a casual dinner at Rojo in the West End - a great opportunity for guests from near and far to mingle and reconnect. The kids were playing cards, watching baseball and adults chatting - perfect for candid photos! Of course, the food was delicious! 

After a couple hours and a family photo slideshow, the kids walked a block over to Homewood Suites for swimming and more of a casual hangout atmosphere. Another milestone happened at this point: first time photographing a swimming b'nai mitzvah party!
